The EBG-Lab team is pushing forward with our in-depth research on developing novel adsorbent materials designed to eliminate heavy metals and toxic metalloids from contaminated soil and water.
We strongly believe that collaboration drives scientific excellence. That is why we foster long-term, sustainable research partnerships with universities worldwide to elevate the impact of our work.

On June 8th (2026), EBG-Lab expanded its research footprint by taking official possession of an additional laboratory room at the IDEC Institute, Hiroshima University. This new space is specifically designed to house biosafety cabinets and supporting equipment dedicated to our lab's expanding molecular and biological experiments.
On June 4th, 2026, the EBG Lab members actively participated in and contributed to the PHIS Ochkai organization, marking a vibrant day of academic exchange. A major highlight of the event was an inspiring talk by Sakuno-sensei, which provided profound insights into the marine environment and deeply resonated with our lab's core focus on biogeochemical cycles.Â
Following this stimulating presentation, we were honored to welcome Kusano-sensei alongside several distinguished PHIS professors for an official visit to the EBG Lab. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as we showcased our research facilities and engaged in highly productive discussions regarding future research cooperation. We are incredibly optimistic about these burgeoning partnerships and look forward to advancing impactful, co-authored scientific discoveries that contribute to global environmental sustainability.
